Cadenza: Music, Betrayal and Death
Upon starting my work at Mad Head Games, this was my first project. My main job was to help with gameplay development: programming narative, puzzles, hidden object scenes and complex boss fights. I had little or almost none knowledge regarding Hidden Object Puzzle Games, but with this project i have learned quite a lot, and most importantly i have learned what it takes to make a game, how many development and non development teams are involved, what happens when game is made and much more.. The game was made in closed sourced Engine, so i had to learn how to work with their scripting language ( which is combination of Python and JS ), to construct scenes using 3D Max and Photoshop and building process. I have also worked on developing Game Music System , firstly specific to this project and later on adjusted for all Hidden Object games. And since there were few things that really got on my nerves, i took the liberty to research how those few things were made and how to improve them using MaxScripts. Upon Completing this game i was assigned to rework their building process from Java to Python. Some good things regarding this project is that i was featured as one of the characters in the game :D. Another thing on which i am very proud off is this puzzle.I had made many of them, but buy far this was the hardest one from mine perspective.
